I didn't see a lot of run off!!!! my yard soaked up most of it!!!!

Man you are right there ,I went wade fishing today at the upper and it is still crystal clear !!
All the rock has green moss growning on them ...never seen that in the 25 years I have been fishing the Ohio ...from all the sunlight in that clear water .I am going again Monday and I am taking the boat .I will post on return

Are any of you on the ohio river seeing any asian carp now, or is the water to cold? was up there in the summer and them things were everywhere. Thanks

I havent seen any in a while but you are right they were thick in the late spring ,we watched some guys bow and arrow fish for them . Which is illegal in the falls area , there is a advisory notice on the bulletin board @ the Harison Ave boat ramp

i fished the upper yesterday morning with freind and we did ok, we caught 9-10 sauger a peice and some drum but today they had shut down, more than likely due to the front that is hanging out with the cooler temp and high clouds.he gets out aa lot more than me and according to jim its nbeen kind of hit and miss. should be getting real good in the next few weeks i would imagine hopefully it will turn on real good when thanksgiving rolls around and i get several days off
