Went to Barren Friday, 11-12 ,and found the LM to be in about four feet of water all the way in the backs of coves. I caught six keeper bass on Spro's and spinner baits. Most people were fishing the front of creeks but weren't catching much. I also was at Green for three days this week , the croppie were awful small but lots of them and the bass were out in 12-16 ft. of water on mainlake points in the Emeral Isle area

Was on Barren friday as well. I noticed a lot of guys fishing bluffs. I did notice that I caught fish in shallow water, but very tight to cover. I would be one of the guys fishing the points and secondary points. What part of the lake did you fish, and what did you see as far as water conditions? I saw around 60deg water and super stained....
Iput in at the Narrows and went up as far as Coon Creek the water temp. started out around 58-59 degrees and got a little cooler (about56-58) when Igot up to the stumps before the blown out bridge in Skaggs. I'll be back Friday, hope the little water drop hasn't changed any thing. I spanked um pretty good with 7 keepers up to 4lbs.
We did the opposite of you. Put in at beaver creek and ended up at the mouth of Skaggs creek fishing points. Did you ever get a buzzbait bit or were they all subsurface hits?
Everything I caught was underwater. Does anyone know what the lake looks like since the rain?
