Best Rod Under $175???

My opinion, if you're going to spend that much, buy something made in the U.S. Loomis GL2, Falcon Lowrider, St. Croix Premier, All Pro, and others.

Shimano just for the warranty is hard to beat.

Falcon Lowriders are excellent rods too.

I love my Shimano's for Baitcasting. And the lifetime warrant is awesome. I have had to take advantage of it. Very slick.

I did not like the Shimano Spinning Rods. I like my St. Croix Spinning Rod.
