I love Monroe too....it has some real TOADS.....it can be very tricky though. One day you can slay em' and the next nothing. Thats why its called fishing....not catching I guess! Right now you can catch them deep and shallow...depends a lot on the sub/cloud/wind factor I believe. Find the shad!!!!!!!!!!

It WILL humble you! I've heard that KVD gave up while trying to film a show there. He got so frustrated and just left.

Supposedly! I don't how much truth is to that but I wouldn't be surprise if he had a hard time there.

I've always wondered how pro's would approach Monroe....and of course how they would do. Aaron Martin and James Niggemeyer did a show on Patoka a couple years ago when it was flooded....took them 3-4 days to have 30 min. worth of show.....but we all know Patoka is better than that....at least most of the time.
