    PS3

I took the plunge and we now own a PS3. Just curious if any of you gamers out there prefer LCD sets over Plasma for gaming?

Don be sure you register it on line, even if you don't play games. If it is ever lost or stolen it can still be tracked. I am not a gamer but I have to use it at work.

I'm not a big gamer, but we have a 55" Plasma and love it....response time on sports/games is a little faster on the Plasma, so I'm told, and the new plasma TV's don't have the "burn-in" issues that the older ones did.

For the money, etc...I like plasma. For the same money, you can get a bigger plasma set than LCD.

I don't think you will be dissapointed in either. Plasma has the advantage in terms of very fast moving images - but you can't really notice too much on either, unless it is a very large TV and you are sitting close to it. Plasma is known for having a truer picture (but the only noticeable difference will be in the darkness and in true blacks - the hardest thing for a tv to replicate - and in high end models there will be little to no difference).

Plasmas don't really have the image burn issue. Actually any television that is left on the same image for a couple days will burn just the same. In the past when plasmas ran hotter they were having that problem with games that had a display that remained stationary (like a racing game with a speedo that was fixed in the corner). But those issues have been resolved.

But in short, both will be fine, and you will love thet PS3. I'm still and xbox 360 guy, but have played a bunch on a ps3.

Walmart had a 22" LCD/LED HDTV 1080P 60HZ for less than $200 so I picked it up. The picture is awesome and for now thats all will we do with this tv. I'm wanting to get some shooter games and God of War!
Actually the game looked great on my 10 year old 50" rear projection Mitsubishi but is awesome on that 22".

Black Ops is awesome, but I like the original Modern Warfare the best. I also really like the COD World at War - if you are into WWII stuff - and you can probably find it pretty cheap.
