    Turkey Fryer

I am wanting to get a turkey fryer. Is it better to get one that is oil less? I would also like to fry fish in it as well. Any advice would be great.

    Re: Turkey Fryer

    Ryan,
I have had mine for a long time and the only thing I can say about the purchase would be to get one with the kit that has a basket for frying small things like shrimp. Get one with a good solid metal base that the fryer sits on with cooking. (mine sits in a collar so it's very sturdy while frying).
Not sure there is much else to these things. I'm sure they have more options that I haven't seen since I don't shop for them. I guess I have done 20+ turkeys in mine and the biggest I have done is a 13lb bird. I can't hardly eat turkey anyother way.
