They are not going to hire Strong at this time. It sounds like Mullen is going to get the job if he wants it.

Logical people keep in mind, Mills hates Louisville more than he likes IU and spends his time making futile, ignorant statements to try and discredit U of L. He would like nothing better than to see Strong leave for greener pastures, not because it would help or hurt his team, but because it would hurt U of L. Yet he refuses to admit that his own favorite team (IU) is hurting in every sport, so now he jumps on the anti U of L and city of Louisville bandwagon (where he lives)......but yet, his son's attend the best academic school in the state, which happens to be right next to the U of L, instead of taking them across the river to Indiana.

Tim, no need in bringing my son's into any of your conversation's..Only reason i live in Louisville, ky. It's where i met my wife during Desert Storm and she is from Ky. So i moved to Ky. to let her stay close to her family. Why wouldn't i send my son's to the best High School's that they want to attend for their 4.3 gps average...I got two gifted son's who are going to get a scholarship to any college they want to attend....

Your right about how i feel about U of L..I can't stand anything about U of L or the County it's in...Nuttin but a bunch of snobs who think no team is better than there beloved Red...... I thought UK fans were the worst until i moved to KY...UK fans don't hold a candle to how U of L fans act.....No wonder Big Brother treats you like a stepchild...cause that's all you are.....Brats, who think their stuff don't stink........

When your a member of a Jr. Conference like the Big East...Then all you all wanna do is wish you were good enough to belong to a Great conference, like the Big Ten, SEC, or ACC.... One day you migth get a chance , but not in the near future.......

No offense Mills, but I think you're taking basketball waaaaaay to serious. You don't like the county, we're all a bunch of snobs? C'mon man, chill out. I've lived here all my life, never moved away, never wanted to live anywhere else (except for maybe Nashville, TN or Burksville, KY)....Anyway, lived here all my life, Jefferson County, Valley Station to be exact...and guess what, I could truly care less about U of L, U of K, IU or any other sports team. Every now and then I watch a ball game, but very seldom...I couldn't even tell you one single players name on UL or UK either one.

Chill a little...get a nice glass of bourbon and a cigar and things will start getting better soon, I promise!

Ya know Clyde I have lived within 25 minutes of Louisville all my life and I really have no frickin clue what you are talking about. Louisville fans over the years have been one of the more classiest fan bases than you could find in the country. I give Ky fans down the road but actually there is only a small percentage that are rabid. Most are like Splitshot, knowledable, dedicated, and like to poke some light hearted fun but know when it gets to far. I've been to alot of UofL games and have almost never seen anybody get to far out of line. Opposition fan bases that visit here praise the city and it's people for kind hospitality. You wanna see some rabid foaming at the mouth redneck fans go out to Morgantown and watch a game. Have you ever thought Clyde maybe it's just you????

Clyde, I apologize if you feel I stepped over the line in regards to your young men. I meant no disresepect and actually was using it as a backhanded compliment to help my argument. Anybody who has kids that can be accepted to that school should be very proud, because it might be the best school in a several state area. Once again my bad, if you felt like I stepped over the line I am sorry.
