I bought my first LH reel this year it was a curado and the clutch would not engage have sent it in to be repaired. I was able to practise with the reel a little and I fish spinning with the handle on the left side so I was sure I would have no problems with the LH reel. All I can say it is awkward. I have tennis elbow and will use both it is going to take some getting used to. I cast baitcaster right handed and switch hands before the bait hits the water and I palm the baitcaster. I have done this for 45 years and that is hard to change.
