Has anyone heard from Elnut? This weather seems to be what he ordered. I miss his posts and was wondering how the fishing and catching was going.

I heard from the grapevine that he had a setback and was taken to the hospital.

This is all I know, as I've not heard from him, but the info came from a pretty reliable source.

If anyone else knows anything, please post, or send me a private IM.

i have never met elnut but i really enjoy reading his post on this board. this is a guy who really needs to catch a break with his medical conditions. i cant imagine going through the things he has and although i have never met him he has got to be one hell of a guy to still be positive after all that has happened. prayers sent up for him and his family and hope that he gets better and one day doesnt have to go through any of this anymore.

Hey folks. Woody had a pretty major setback Friday. He was down at Dale Hollow getting ready for the Billy when he started having severe pain in his left side. He was taken to the hospital in Celina. Once they saw his condition, he was immediately air lifted to UK. He had emergency surgery late Friday night. Not to get too gross on here, but they removed a gallon of infection from his side. Unfortunately, the infection is MRSA and Pseudomonas. Needless to say Woody has a long road to recovery. He will be in UK for the next 3-4 weeks. So, any of you folks in Lexington Christmas shopping, swing by the hospital and see him. I'm sure it would brighten his day to talk a little fishing while he's laid up. I will try to post some updates on here from time to time. He is in room 539.
