Cedar Creek, Floyds Fork, and Salt River are all right in Bullitt County and are perfect for wading, kayaking, or kickboating. Also a few descent places in surrounding counties. Otter creek is good for wading. Lots of lakes for kayaking nearby: Sympson, Tom Wallace, McNeally, Long Run... and i have on friend who kayaks taylorsville for crappie. These are reasons why i am trying to convince my wife i need a NuCanoe...

I have seen kayak's with motors. My self i plan on fishing moving water and won't need a motor too get in the way.Weigh is what i look at because i have too load boat at the water. Most kayaks will hold 300lbs or more.

    Re: Float tube/pontoon/kickboat fisherman

This is part of teh reason i want a NuCanoe. Use it like a One Man kayak one day. Then put two swivel seats on it and take two guys to a small lake. Then Put two canoe seats in it and go camping down the green river for a week with the wife and can even add a third seat to take the kiddo along. Then when i get lazy I can put a trolling motor on the square stern. And the thing weighs as much as a normal sit on top kayak til you start adding stuff. And to top it off... you can stand up in it if you wanna fliip/pitch or take a fky rod along.

    Im sold.

I live in Muhlenberg. I WILL be contacting you. Sooner that you might want to fish. I fish some in the winter in my kickboat.

I've got one more week of deer hunting left, and then it is back to fishing. I fish all year long, so it is never too soon to fish for me!

    Re: Float tube/pontoon/kickboat fisherman

I own a float tube and love it! This thing gets me into places that boats only dream of.

The only issue I have is flippin'. It's a little hard to do when you are even with the water.
