Cave Run Ramps?

Does anyone know which ramps are open right now for the Main Part of Cave Run Lake?

Scott's Creek and Alfrey (Twin Knobs) are open/usable year round. Scott's Creek would likely be your best option as it is alot deeper than Alfrey.

Claylick is probably open, and I would bet that Warrix is dry and unusuable. But Scotts, Alfrey, and Claylick should be good to go. watch for ice on the ramps though they can make things tricky. especially the steep ones like Scotts

Is cave frun a good small mouth fishery?

LOL Hell NO! There are smallmouth in there but they are very hard to come by! although in backwaters in LEX they have a 8 pound smallie that came out of Cave Run but I've never been able to catch smallies on Cave and I have tried very very very hard to do so...and they're just isn't a good population in the lake...Musky and largemouth yeah, smallmouth not so much!
