32+ pounds. All from KY. I am still looking for that 8+ pound bass.

One of these fish was a 5 1/2lb smallie from KY lake. Me being young and not really knowing just what I had, I ate that fish. I wish now I would have put her on the wall. If I ever catch another that big, I'll know what to do with it this time.

    Re: Lifetime Limit

Had never thought about this until this post came up. Brings back some good memories...

    11-7 LM (Florida)
    9-4 LM (Florida)
    8-8 LM (KY Lake)
    8-8 LM (KY Lake)
    8-0 LM (Florida)
    --------
    45-11 Total

I wish these fish were caught as a result of my fishing skills but unfortunately they were probably more the result of persistence than anything. The two 8.5 pounders were actually the same fish (with very distinctive markings), caught twice within a three-day period on KY Lake. The second time I caught her, she was about 100 yards away from where I caught her the first time. Shows the value of catch and release.

Four of the five were caught with my dad in the boat with me. That's definitely the best memory associated with these fish, since he passed away this last summer.

Probably right around 35 pounds. I have caught five fish all right around 7 (some a little over, a couple a little under) over the past couple years here on Ky Lake. Still haven't caught an 8 pounder. Released them all.

Mark several Clearys in and around T-Ville, know a few of them. That little lake used to be a hawg heaven in it's day, just ask Stephen Headrick about it, he grew up fishing that little 110 + - lake, were some pigs in there, but it has gone downhill, lot of catch and eat went on, lost another one in that lake that would have pushed 12 and they found one floating dead once that was over 12. Smallies were stocked there a guy who had a big pond full of em and the pond started to leak so he put the smallies in that little lake.
