You guys aren't missing much. Although this is from central FL there is a monthly bass tournament held at various lakes. This past Tuesday there were 8 boats, 3 fish caught, 1st place was a whopping 2.13 for 2 squeakers. BB was 2.1 lbs. We fished from 9-3. Water temps were 49-52. Air temp at start was 31. Location was Lake Henderson. I caught 1 dink. High tomorrow 70 and YES I do miss the schooling spots on the OH River creeks in the Markland Pool.

I was so disappointed last Friday. I was off took off with my Kayak to my favorite pond. It was frozen over still. I then went to Harrod's Creek and it was frozen around where I would put it. What a bummer. I think Floyds Fork may have been okay; but by then it was getting too late. I did some honey do chores instead. My wife was the only one happy that day.

LOL... I hear ya offdtop...The Wii Rapala game is the only thing that keeps my FEVER down below 100 while stuck in the cabin...It keeps the fishing muscles in shape too...

I got it already, but I am going to Gatlinburg tomorrow and stopping by BPS.......I am afraid it will only make it worse.

I have all the symptoms too.... I have a new kayak and the new slider for my tackle box and I actually sat in the boat that's in my garage. I'm still arranging things in anticipation of my spring fishing. But I have a cure for this.... Working on the second kayak fishing tournament June 5th. I have a festival this year on June 4th. It's so much fun getting new sponsors for this event. Help cure me of my cabin fever by sending me information on who might sponsor this event. Check out Yakdaddy.net and read my slider review.

I have not been fishing in a serious capacity in approximately 7 years, between work and school. I have finally achieved a place where I can get back on the water, have a small jon boat now, coming down from a stratus and a bass buggy pontoon. The boat I now have has been in the shop for going on 9 weeks to have a cylinder head replaced. I have re-arranged my tackle boxes several times, put new line on every rod in the house and getting really antsy about getting on the water. I am so looking forward to the tranquility of the lake and the rush of that big hit from a huge fish...

I am just waiting until the layer of ice is off my boat cover, I don't care how cold it is, I am going to Nolin. I remember three winters ago it was still in the 40's and 50's about now. This weather is rediculous.
