trade bullet for stratos

i have a 93 bullet 21xd, 200 mercury efi motor.... needs some work to look great i have it up for sale and i was offered to trade straight up for a
99 stratos 21 SS extreme motor is 225 johnson HO looks to be in a lot better shape then my bullet cleaner as well as doesn't need anything done to it to make it be in great condition... i will try to post a pic of each boat.... i'm just wondering what you all think about the trade?

I would say that trade is fair. But it depends on how many hours on each motor, what electronics you guys would be trading with the boats, etc. I would much rather have a Stratos than a Bullet anyway being as I dont care as much about speed as i do comfort. So for me it would be a no brainer.

I would keep the bullet. If u need someone to help evaluate what needs fixed, my son can help u out. Just give me a call, he's great about spotting things thats wrong with boats.

I think that year of Johnson had a lot of problems. My fishing partner had the same year Johnson and had to have it rebuilt 3 times and on the 4th he just got rid of it. I have others having the same problems with that year motor.

Tarhill, go to bbcboards.net & ask about them in the engines forum. The fellow that has it for sale is a member of bbc & has always seemed to be very honest. I thought about trying to buy it myself, but with the way things are going this winter I've decided against it. Not because I'm worried about buying it at all.

I was messing with shake head because my 5 year old went fishing with us one time and pointed out everything that was in the boat. He was asking why this and why that. Pretty much drove us crazy with the non stop talking. I wasn't saying anything about the other guys boat.
