Watched Louisville put the clamps on an overmatched Gardner-Webb squad yesterday. It was nice to them actually dive after loose balls and go for rebounds...even my buddy Preston Knowles had 9 rebounds.

Who is this Dieng kid? He looked like he could be a beast potentially...Cards fans are going to need him to step up alongside Jennings if they are going to hold their own in the Big East this year.

Obviously Gradner Webb was outmatched, but I liked the hustle and intensity and the way they bounced back from their first loss. The road trip to play WKU is going to be a lot tougher than many people realize. WKU plays well at home and when a big time opponent ventures into Diddle Arena the home crowd can be very loud. It should be a good test for a team making their first trip on the road.

Won't surprise me one bit to see the Hilltoppers hand Louisville a loss. Like Tim siad they are tough at home and have been a solid team for the last several years with even a run to the sweet 16. I thought Louisville looked awful Saturday but they were hustling hard. Transition spacing and execution was horrible. Bad shots and quick shots are a concern. Marra is playing like last year again all the sudden, what happens to that kid??? For me he was to be the difference maker this year and for awhile he was doing it, not now.
