I thought it was for the most part an evenly called and clean game,I am surprised that the refs didn't call a flagrant foul on Terrence Jennings with about 5 seconds to go when he grabbed DeAndre Liggins legs to prevent a layup.Liggins could have been injured by this lazy "D"

I didn't notice that during the game, and apparently the refs didn't either. It could have just been a knee-jerk reaction as Liggins got by him....I wouldn't read too much into it. Basketball is a physical game full of split second decisions...and some times, you screw up.

There are pictures plainly showing one ref (not Jim Burr) looking plainly at the incident.Only 5 seconds to go,knee jerk reaction or not grabbing a players legs while they are in the air and flipping them is a flagrant foul by the rules,Liggins could have been severly injured by this.There was no reason for this type action and Jennings should have at least been called for the foul.

I didn't notice that there were only 5 seconds left. In that case, I'm sure that a little bit of frustration and unsportsmanlike conduct came in to play there too then...

I agree that he should have been called for a foul...were it not 5 seconds left down 13, I'm sure there would have been...

Kentucky should have just dribbled out the clock anyway - The game was over.

The reason Liggins took the shot was because there was a difference between game clock and shot clock,UL would have had the ball back.Any team in the country would have took the shot as well,no excuse for cheap shots,if you see the smirk on Jennings face it was an uncalled for cheap shot.

I totally agree kyfanatic. A foul is a foul and should be called regardless of points on the board or time on the clock. And a flagrant foul of that nature should result in ejection from not only this game but his next one. Mr. Splitshot if Liggins had been injured on the play would points or time have mattered to you then? A foul is a foul and a dirty foul should be dealt with.

Thanks Brian for being a level headed fan with solid meaniful remarks. When Buckles busted that finger the day before I knew we had no chance. Ky size was too much for Louisville to overcome. Knight with five inches on Siva. Liggins and Miller way to long on the perimeter and played lock down defense on outside shots, my hat is off to them. Dieng should have played more in the second half, Jennings is a complete waste of court space. He lost Harrelson so many times I lost count, it was ridiculous. Not Pitino's best coached game to say the least. Refs played no role in this game Ky won it, Louisville lost, anybody that didn't see that is blind.

Life goes on, Louisville has a good class coming in next year. It will be tough in the big East, they are small and banged up badly. I'm really starting to question Pitino getting all these guys hurt in practice. Probably not his fault, but Swopshire, Marra, Bullet and now Buckles, you gotta start saying Hmmmmm. The tatoo comments are just silly. UK players last year was covered up with Tat's but I guess selective memory must have blocked that out. I won't get into it with the obvious hate squad, good stuff Splitshot, all of us will get on that creek this year, storms or not, lol.

(That's the ridiculousness that the website linked with the videos insinuates.) Yes, it was unsportsmanlike...the kid screwed up. Of course a foul should have been called. It wasn't. There were 9 seconds left on the clock and Kentucky was up 13 points on the road. If it had been versus Southeast Missouri State Poly Tech you never would have noticed it.

Preston Knowles is a freak....first time watching U of L this season and the kid is lights out and quicker than anybody on the floor....MHall I will have to strongly disagree with your assesment of Dieng....He's big and an athlete but he's lost against good competition.....Never thought i would say this but UK is too big....Harrelson is vastly improved over the course of this season and is proving to be the difference maker
