No jealously here, I dont fish Bluegill/Crappie, nor do I keep them when I catch one.

But in your original post you claimed in three days you took home 86, 100+ and 78.... So you kept almost 300 fish in a span of three days.... Thats 600 fillets... Youve realistically caught a year supply of bluegill/crappie in three days. But you will continue to harvest all year long.

Its just my opinion that you are making a mistake by continuing to hoard fish like that. They arent rabbits. They dont procreate several times a year. All it takes is a few of you guys to rob a lake of a decent fishing spot where 20-30 keepers will probably hold you over for a while.

Ive also seen several times on this website Pan guys come on here and complain about bass fishermen ruining their good crappie/bluegill fishing holes. Yet they dont think twice about scooping up enough fish to feed a church on good friday all for themselves.

In the end youre really only hurting yourself... You are taking away Bass biggest threat as bluegills help control populations by eating their eggs. This will lead to even worse panfish populations than your poaching as Bass can eat hundreds of fry during after a spawn.

You dont have to take my word for it though, there is plenty of history all around the world as proof over harvesting will eventually catch up to those who do it. I just wish you didnt display such arrogance/ignorance about that fact.
