fnf on cumberland?

Thought about hitting cumberland later this week and was gonna see if anyone has heard if they are hitting the fly right now.

Tarhill. I personally haven't been, but was told by a pretty reliable source that a lot of fish were being caught on the fly. Another fellow told me the fish were(his words) suprisingly shallow & that even though he was catching them on jerkbaits & jigs that the fly was catching a lot now & more often than the jig or jerkbait. Hope this helps.

water temps should say the fly bite should be in full swing

A friend of mine fished last week and caught several nice fish on the Fly. He caught smallmouths, spots and a 26 inch striper.

Fished Beaver today....after a hairy ride down the hill, (ice should be gone after today), got there about 2:30 fished till dark, caught 6 ky's, 1 smallmouth about 15" a nice largemouth 22" and about a 12# striper all on the fly. All came on craft hair fly, started fishing duck and switched after about an hour with no pull downs, always seem to have better luck w/ craft hair on blue bird days......9' leader.....hadta be in the shade.....will be in Otter tomorrow....good luck.
