Don't think you will see to many "thugs" playing for UK basketball team. And when you make it to the final 4; regardless of how great you are...or your team is....in collage B-ball...it could be anybodys game at that point. UK basketball doesn't consume my life either...but it is a big part of it..like fishing..hunting..you know..all in good fun. But it does make my day when they win!

Well said demodan, I too am not "consumed with Kentucky Basketball" but also love to watch them play. Bassking I responded to your comments about me being obnoxious in a post that I must assume got removed. I have no idea what I said that was offensive. (I wish the administrators would email us to let us know what we did wrong). Maybe they're Louisville fans too, who knows. Anyway, you seem confused. In one sentence you say:

"UK fans are all about letting everyone know they are the best and in reallity thats not true and hasnt been true for quite a while."

And in the very next sentence you say:

"had the best team in college ball last year"

My question to you is: What do you consider "quite a while"?

I'm a die hard True Blue fan, but I will have to agree with something MHall said......If UK played in the Big East we would have a few more losses than we will playing in the weak SEC this year....UofL schedules a weak nonconference schedule so their record looks good to the tournament selection committe..If you switched Uk and UofL's nonconference schedules UofL would conceivably be looking at 4 losses right now instead of one (Washington, UConn, North Carolina, Notre Dame) and UK would probably be undefeated and ranked in the top 5 in the country....I don't think UK has the talent to make a deep run in the tournament this year, maybe a Sweet 16....UofL will probaly struggle to make the tournament unless they pull off a couple big wins in the Big East at which they will have several chances....The only thing that gets me about the UofL fans is how they talk the game up every single year and when they lose talk about how they didn't really expect to win anyway....All fans have a tendancy to be obnoxious at some point and thats what fuels these rivalries....If UofL was going to upset a Cal coached Cats team this was probably their best opportunity for ahwile...and with all this thug talk has anybody looked at UK"s team this year.....please point out the "thug" on this team.....Brandon Knight is one the top scholar athletes in the country...the guy almost classified as a sophmore when he walked on campus because of the credit hours he earned while in high school.....One other thing before I go...If Selby had chosen UK over Kansas how many UofL fans would be running their mouth about "Cheatapari" right now....but he didn't and I haven't heard a single Card fan mention his name

Who this year has called any player on Kentucky's team a thug??? I have openly siad several times what a good kid Knight is, very likable young man. Jones I'm not crazy about but he's not a punk. Now last year is a different story Cousins was a first rate thug and has proven me right in the NBA. Look up all the trouble he has stirred up since he's been up there. It's your boys, Demondan and Shuggy that have thrown the most mud, take them rose colored glasses off and smell the coffee.

I won the bet here at work, I had Kentucky picked to win and with Buckles out it was a no brainer. Why don't you UK guys worry about your own team and quit worrying about Louisville. BTW just a very very short time ago when the drunk was coaching your team you guys were all hiding under rocks, now you are all beating your chests like a horny Siverback Gorilla, lol, too funny.

OH and btw, certain losses to UNC, Wash, UConn and Notre Dame, you don't know that and neither do I that whole deal is BS conjecture. Second round your Kittens go home after playing in that High School league you will not be ready. Third round tops and that's only because of seeding and media being attached to your jock 24/7.

Enes Kanter....He was actually UK's top recruit this year on most boards.....Coming from another country he accepted some money for playing basketball and was ruled inelegible....the NCAA was still investigating it but he has been ruled permanently inelegible.....With all the other cases going on right now (Ohio St. players, Cam Newton, Josh Selby) it's a bit of a crock but what the NCAA says goes

Most people didn't expect it. Vegas had Louisville as the favorite, of course that was before Buckles went out and Deing got banged up in warm ups.

This will most likely be UK's signature win of the season, beating a ranked team on the road. They will not have any conmpetition in the SEC outside of Vanderbilt.
