I could care less about any of these games....it does surprise me though how fired up the UK guys get when they obviously had the big upper hand in this game. All I watched was part of the first half and judging from the little bit of the game that I saw it was evident to me that UK had a lot more size than the Cards, plus the cards had a key player (or two injured). I mean who's really surprised out the outcome?

I guess Cat fans get giddy like a school girl on prom night rather easily.

??? are you serious ??? i have a facebook inbox full of BS from every UK fan i know , 76 text messages from UK fans i know and work with , that the most unrealistic statement ive heard about the difference in UK and UofL fans. every cat fan ive ever met and ran into has a smart a$$ comment about how much better UK is and always will be.

you can ask any NCAA fan no matter what team they root for and they will tell ya UK has some of the most obnxious and poorest sportsmanship fan base around.

Don't worry about the haters, they are king, they think their team could beat the Lakers. It's laughable sometimes. If Ky had to play a Big East schedule this year they would have 6 or 7 losses I'd bet the bank on it. They won't win a championship with Calapari and that is all the SALT in the wounds I need, lol.

I've been UK fan / Alumni,...travled all over; haven't missed many games anywhere anytime; will also be at next week Bowl Game!! Never have I heard...or rightly see UK fans being obnxoius and demenstrating poor sportsmanship. As a matter of fact, places and their people love it when we come to town. We are everyone's superbowl... we bring the largest crowds..and spend tons of cash; more than any collage team in any sport!...But anywho..UK will win a NCAA Champioship under Calapari and very soon; how many SEC titles does he need to win?? ...hell, if we can keep them from turing pro, we would have 14 NCAA titles, instead of just 7!! Bring on the Big East...We will see what will transpire when the great month on March comes rolling around; you know...when teams should be at their peek and ready to dance! We will see who is dancing once again in the final 4 at the Reliant Stadium in Houston Tx. Here is some sportsmanship for ya....Im hoping UofL will build something else we can break in...First it was T. Couch at Papa Johns...now J. Harrellson at the KFC Yum Center.....Checken anybody! I'm so glad Justice didn't go OJ on us and even though he didn't score in the 2 minutes Pitino chose to play him, he did get 1 rebound. Last year Card fans were saying that Siva was better than John Wall too. LOL. It's obvious that Pitino doesn't think much of Justice either or he would have played him more.
If you have any data to back up the accusations that Calipari cheats or pays players I'm sure the world would love to see it. Where I work we have a saying: In God We Trust; All Others Bring Data.
And in closing I would like to point out that is the Cardinal fans that have the open wound and no salt is needed. Your wound opens wider and bleeds more everytime you open your mouth.

demondan , look at your guy here shaggy , not obnoxious ??? get for real. there is good and bad with all fans but IMO UK fans are all about letting everyone know they are the best and in reallity thats not true and hasnt been true for quite a while. had the best team in college ball last year and guess what ? still couldnt get it done. as far as thugs go , with callapari you will have your fair share of that as well. i will have a great new year , basketball doesnt consume my life and neither does UofL or UK BS

Don't think you will see to many "thugs" playing for UK basketball team. And when you make it to the final 4; regardless of how great you are...or your team is....in collage B-ball...it could be anybodys game at that point. UK basketball doesn't consume my life either...but it is a big part of it..like fishing..hunting..you know..all in good fun. But it does make my day when they win!

Well said demodan, I too am not "consumed with Kentucky Basketball" but also love to watch them play. Bassking I responded to your comments about me being obnoxious in a post that I must assume got removed. I have no idea what I said that was offensive. (I wish the administrators would email us to let us know what we did wrong). Maybe they're Louisville fans too, who knows. Anyway, you seem confused. In one sentence you say:

I'm a die hard True Blue fan, but I will have to agree with something MHall said......If UK played in the Big East we would have a few more losses than we will playing in the weak SEC this year....UofL schedules a weak nonconference schedule so their record looks good to the tournament selection committe..If you switched Uk and UofL's nonconference schedules UofL would conceivably be looking at 4 losses right now instead of one (Washington, UConn, North Carolina, Notre Dame) and UK would probably be undefeated and ranked in the top 5 in the country....I don't think UK has the talent to make a deep run in the tournament this year, maybe a Sweet 16....UofL will probaly struggle to make the tournament unless they pull off a couple big wins in the Big East at which they will have several chances....The only thing that gets me about the UofL fans is how they talk the game up every single year and when they lose talk about how they didn't really expect to win anyway....All fans have a tendancy to be obnoxious at some point and thats what fuels these rivalries....If UofL was going to upset a Cal coached Cats team this was probably their best opportunity for ahwile...and with all this thug talk has anybody looked at UK"s team this year.....please point out the "thug" on this team.....Brandon Knight is one the top scholar athletes in the country...the guy almost classified as a sophmore when he walked on campus because of the credit hours he earned while in high school.....One other thing before I go...If Selby had chosen UK over Kansas how many UofL fans would be running their mouth about "Cheatapari" right now....but he didn't and I haven't heard a single Card fan mention his name
