Circulating water does not freeze. The only way I would do that would be leave my pump on all night. Then you would have a dead battery. Cheaper to get more bait in my opinion.

If you are talking a regular bass boat I would think it would have to get very cold for a decent amount of time to freeze. With the boat setting in water and all the flotation foam around the livewell serving as insulation and the lid shut I would think it would have to get a lot lower then 32 to freeze jmo.
I got a call back from the marina. They are closed but he is going to meet me Friday morning and let me rent a covered slip for the night.
