Ky. Lake April 2nd thru 8th

Hows the bass, bluegill, or crappie fishing during this week? I know it will depend alot on the weather conditions but on average how is it at that time. My boys spring break is that week and around 6 of us are going to maybe go down and give them a try. We went last year at the end of April and did pretty well on bass. We will be ataying on the north end of the lake.

It is by far one of my favorite times (last couple weeks of March through the end of April). The water temps will be the biggest factor in finding fish. I have still been on a good jerkbait bite after a cold march through that time, and I have also caught some post spawn fish during that time. But usually it will be a good time to catch a good number of fish, and some quality fish as well.

That is when that lake is crawling with crappie fisherman. Probably the best crappie fihing to be had in Kentucky. I will be there the week before you. I will try and let you know how i do on the bass.
