I would recommend getting a float tube they work great in Elkhorn. They are fairly cheap you can get one at Sportsmans Warehouse in Lexington. Its tricky fishing from it some people don't like them but in Elkhorn you can use it to get thru the deep holes or take a break and wade the rest of the time.
