Justin he is not there til April unless it gets really warm soon don't think that is going to happen anytime soon LOL.

There is always a fee to launch. This time of year it's on the honor system. There is a drop box on a post next to the building. The year begins April 1 on season passes. With all the work those guys have put into the ramp area it's a shame that a lot of people stiff them.....

Nope. I haven't got out a whole lot this winter but that'll be changing starting next week. I'll get back to the river 2-3 times a week and newton once a week.

From what my buddies have been saying and the pictures they keep sending me newton is the same as always. Lots of 3-6lb fish taken daily. Mostly on traps and crankbaits. Bad news there have been a lot of major fishing shows shot there already this winter. More people will be there after those air. Zona's awesome was there (twice now), brauer bass battles. And that's just the last few weeks. I think the winter tx circuit starts up again real soon too.

It was crowded on the weekends. Now with the fishing show it will only get worse.That *****!!!

Yeah. Worst part is the brauer bass battle show is going to air in march! More people thinking let's hit that lake during spawn! I'm going over one day this week for sure, if not two times. I'll post a report of what I get.

I think i'll wait until it gets at least in the 40's befor i go. Look forward to a report.
