    Rich the white perch and the drum are different fish.They do look the same to some extent. White perch almost are a nuiscance fish in the great lakes.They dont get big, but eat like whales.And fresh water drum are fair table fare. Its all in the batter or breading, and cleaning, just as good as white bass or stripers.

    My big question is with a nice boat like that and all those nice rods why couldn't you afford to have a net on board rather than wrestling that big fish bear handed?

    Yeah it would have came in handy, I left the net in the garage...
