    Colts

I lost some confidence and think there's only a 50% chance they will take the bowl.

Sat down with my 12 pack of miller genuine draft, to watch my two favorites of the day, now you know why my family prohibits me watching bear games! But as true blue cub fan, dis appointment is my forte.

Da' Bears.... I hope they don't end up with an updated version of the Super Bowl Shuffle. To be honest we all liked the song and everytime I hear it I remember being stationed in Germany and playing on tanks in the field.

Gald to see the Colts sent packing. If I were Reggie Wayne, I'd punch Panty Peyton in the mouth. One pass all game.....to your NFL leading 111 reception leader.
Although I would rather have seen the Patriots blow them out....

Not a fan of either team, but it was a great game to watch. I still haven't forgiven Bob Irvine for sneaking out of Baltimore in the middle of the night, so I was kind of glad to see them get beat.

Sure did. Spent some cold dreary days and nights there. I was in the 3rd I.D. while in Germany stationed in Kitzingen. I would love to go back and see Germany again....beautiful country.
    What were you doing there?

infantry toured all the great tourist spots, hohenfels, grafenwere, and wound up in baumholder. After an accident wound up with an armoured transport battalion. We had the oppurtunity to ford the rhine river in APCs. Also spent a couple of months at a kaserne that had the 280 atomic cannons.Spent 29 and a half months there. A lot of good times and memorys.

Gotcha...nice to know we stomped on some of the same ground over there. Spent time at Hohenfels as well. We travelled alot while stationed in Germany. Of course the Military had me visit many cities and I actually liked doing that regardless of the reason.
We had the privilage of taking the night train through East Germany to get to West Berlin and experienced the Berlin Wall/Checkpoint Charlie. Great memories for sure.

Oh....you didn't know. The mayor requested the Colts leave at night to avoid the possibility of public unrest. I think the Colts did a great job looking out for the city and mayor by leaving when it would not incite riots.

Of course, what is defined as a riot in many other cities, in Baltimore, only qualifies as "a loud public discussion".

    Re: Colts

dj Berlin was a great place to go on leave, only draw back then was you needed a valid military ID to travel by rail. I flew in the first time on a MATS flight, and flew out, no problem. Second time was different, no flights available, so I went to go by train, but y ID card wasa cracked, no can do the MPS said.So I was due back in the zone the next day, and couldn,t make it, the MP said to turn myself in, and they would list me TDY till the next flight out. Great city, they still had check point charley, plenty of good beer, did I mention frauliens?
