Does anyone know if taylorsville is froze
I would love to know too. I would say after the last two days we had you should be able to put in at the marina. the water is up just a little too. I think its going to be a good year at t-ville.
Solid at the 248 bridge and at least a mile or so toward Van Buren.
Lots of hard water all over the lake.......
There is never any fish in Taylorsville. You should just stay home!![]()
Good lake, just fished heavy.
Taylorsville isn't that bad. I've caught several nice fish there. It is pressured though and I think it has an overpopulation of shad but it's fourty five minutes from the house. I ended up driving down to Green and wished I stayed home. Couldn't even coax a bite. Did get to use my new 998 more though. Man I can't wait till spring!!!
yeah go some where else. im going to see if that four and a half pounder broke 5 this year
.
Speaking of t-ville being overpopulated with shad...if the fish have a unlimited amout of shad to eat could that be the reason that its hard to catch a limit of nice bass from there. If they fill up on shad all the time maybe the bass arent hungry as often as they are at other lakes. I have never seen any other lake with as many shad as t-ville. Then on the other hand if they have that much to eat why isnt it loaded with big bass ? I know it sees a lot of pressure but i just dont understand why its not one of the best bass fisheries in the state. Anyway thats my 2 cents.
T-ville is not very good just remember not matter how many shad there are in that lake you have several different species eatin them up also bass majority of the time smack our baits out of reaction or instinct
