Taylorsville is a tough cookie to crack. The spawn varies form year to year dependant upon water levels , I have seen the years when they have had a tremendous spawn , with it lasting three to four weeks and other years so so. The corps of engineers at Tville are worried about one thing ...And thats flood control and fish take a back seat , and if you live below the **** from Taylorsville to the Ohio river you can probably appreciate that. Fishing in the spring and the fall of the year can be just about as good as any of the other smaller lakes around. I was speaking with the head fisheries biologist for Taylorsville and all there data indicates that there will be a very strong class of 15 inch fish this season.....I hope there data is right . I cant complain though a fifteen minute drive and Im afloat...Jarrod
