Well Im licking my wounds a litttle from last nights lost to Alabama;...out of all the SEC schools, that's my favorite for some reason...you know...the one I'd realy like for the Cats to just claw all over...but that didn't happen last night. Im not to overly upset about it...missing shots for the charity stripe...now that gets me fired up!!...We do have to realize folks...that playing on the road in the SEC is real tough...especially with three starting freshmen, mistakes will be made...and especially on the road..and down the stretch of a very tight game...maybe tight isn't the word for it...yet the cats did claw back into the game. Strange as it seems...I knew they would...get back into the game for a chance to win...and they did that; that was good to see that they can get in and "fight" back. Boy coach Cal was sure giving Jones a ear full most of the night; it looked to me that coach Cal was saying some real "fired-up" talk strait in their faces...more than I have ever seen from coach Cal, and maybe than I ever have from any UK coach! I often wonder...how the players take that...Im sure there are some that don't respond well to it. I know this though...Liggins is one hell of a basketball player...on "D"...or scoring points. I saw something in him last night to says this..."there is more to come in my game, in the very near future"!! There is going to be a learning curve with this team, these freshmen will come on strong, playing these tough road games will strengthen are hand for March....We still have to play FL. twice and Tenn. twice..the Game Cocks! So UK will have much more to deal with...this is going to be great...the SEC is strong...Bama would have given anybody a game last night. They hit 7-out of 13 three pointers in the first half!! Great game...for Bama
