Bama played with a level of hustle and enthusiasm that was awesome....similar to the way they played against Arkansas, but they ended up loosing that one. Kentucky came on a little too late. Another couple of minutes and we would have crashed their party, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

All I care about this year is that Kentucky is playing well come NCAA tournament time and we make a run. Like last night, it looks like we will take some lumps along the way. This aint the Wall-Cousins-Bledsoe-Patterson show anymore...

I wouldn't call the SEC a powerhouse conference this year, nothing akin to the Big East right now for quality and quantity, but there are some strong teams that can ball...

Tennessee is an Enigma, one night they can beat the Miami Heat the next night Lexington Catholic could take them. Florida is the same way. Vandy is a solid team, and Georgia is a good squad as well. After that for me it's a struggle to make a case for many SEC teams other than Kentucky which can be very very good and can also lay a big fat egg. Is it me or is there some Pouting going on on that team right now. Jones looks like somebody just took his McDonalds toy out of his happy meal to me. Calapari was doing alot of barking last night, pretty mean spirited to and I'm fine with that. However I'm not sure a couple of Ego's on that team quite know how to take that tough love and Jones is first on the list. Calapari may actually have to do some coaching this year. If Kentucky is struggling this hard in the SEC on the road I don't see them going deep at all in the tourney. That is not hate or smack talk it's just a basketball opinion and observation.

That was a Hell of a comeback though and had they pulled it off it would have been spectacular, but give credit to comeback on the road down 20, that was really something.

I thought Jones reactions to Cal was disrespectful at times. I'm really not convinced that Jones has his head on straight in some of these games and it does take a coach to jump in a players grill.

Yeah I wouldn't say the SEC is strong either. It's not weak but it's down from years ago when the Gators took two straight Championships. Just thought I would toss that in for ya! Plus the football team won the championship the same year...another little tidbit for ya....I'm just saying.

Dooh!.....LOL I wasn't clear I mean't 2006 and 2007 Mens Basketball National Champions. I just tossed in the 2006 and 2008 Mens Football National Championships cause it felt so good and I won money on them boys!!!

You know..that is what I thought...could have sworn that I read coach Cal's lips, and it lookes like he said "F-you" to Jones last night...and "F-off", as Jones was walking back on the floor???...I was shocked big time. Never have I heard a coach say F-off...or F-you!!! That blew me away? And I've been around coaches all my life; just something you should never say...to anybody...I know I don't like it.
