Why is Bass Pro Shops sponsoring Jim Rome's show " Jim Rome Is Burning" on ESPN? Who would their audience be? I mean other than men aged 18-50. Just seems odd to me. Am I crazy?

I didn't know they were, I won't watch his show. I can only listen to about 5 minutes of his radio show before I have to change the station. Not a Rome fan.

Rome has also been pushing Brut Cologne as one of his new sponsors. Maybe alot of the FLW and Elite guys are wearing Brut these days. LOL!

I agree not a Jim Rome fan at all. but I guess you get sponsors wherever you can get them....what's next though...Tampax?

Big fan of Jim Rome. You can't just flip it on halfway through the show or even listen once or twice a week and appreciate it.
The worst thing that the zone in Nashville did was have Dan Patrick over the first hour of Jim Rome. Without the first hour you are completely lost. Now they got three of their own goofballs on the air. More local sponsors equals more money for the station.
Jim gives the nascar guys lots of props too.

When I turned on my computer this morning there was short film on u tube with Jim Rome. This looked like it was done quite a few years ago. He was doing an interview with Jim
Evert. I don't remember what team Jim Evert played for . Jim Rome kept calling him
Chrisy Evert. Jim Evert told him not to call him that again and of course Jim Rome said he
would continue to call him Chrisy. Finally the guy flipped the table over on Rome and jumped on top of him. I am sure this was not fake. I think you can pull this up on u tube.If
it was fake they did a good job of it.

Love how tough Rome tried to be in the youtube clip, knowing that he had probably ten other guys in the room to back him up, lol! In any other situation, that guy would have beat Rome to a pulp.....I take that back, in any other situation, Rome would have never had the balls to say that to his face.
