Just got a report from a couple days ago. They fished all day with jigs and minnows and caught 20 bows and lost a good brown. Said generation was slow. No other species caught which is a surprise. I might try it next weekend - forecast looks good.

Nobody been fishing the cumberland river? Well I tried and now I'm back home so it's back to croppie fishin on the nolin river. Tore into some good croppies last weekend walking the banks. Guess I'll have to get out the cross country skis to get there this weekend. At least it won't be crowded.

I went down yesterday, and the ramp had snow and ice from top to bottom. Did not even try to put the boat in. I seen where a Pontoon had put in (he was drivin a Chevy and I had a Ford). I went up to the wall at the dam and only caught one Saugar and a Rainbow on a Silver Buddy but the guy's that was using jigs and minnows did OK. One Gen. ran the whole time I was there.

this morning when i crossed it at burkesville, there was very little current the water level was as low as i have seen it in weeks 7:30 AM, i live close to the river if u know the dock at the motel water was just up to it.
Hopefully it'll be more rain than snow the next few days and all that will melt.
