I have had the best luck for big fish 2/15-3/16 and numbers 3/15-4/15.

After watching this video, I've decided I'm going to hit Reelfoot Lake for bluegill sometime this late spring/early summer:

Of course the usual will be slated......KY, Barkley, Ohio River/Louisville, Patoka, Taylorsville...

Old Hickory this spring. Seems as though it is alot more stable of a lake to fish than Barren in the early part of the spring.

I hope to make it to St. Clair in late May or early June for a long weekend. That's about it for me this year.

I've been there a couple of times, but for duck hunting. An aluminum boat is a must - stumps EVERYWHERE! I bought an aluminum rig this past fall that should be perfect for it.

Re: Lakes to hit for 2011

looks like another year at taylorsville and Guist creek lake. Maybe throw in a little Cumberland. I can't catch fish there but the girls can get a little wild. Maybe someday soon I will get back to my former salary and be able to put El Salto back on the schedule. If anyone is looking for a butcher send them my way. Thanks

I would really like to try Guntersville in May, it seems like thats when the bass are really stacked on the main lake drops on mussel beds, and you can really tear them up if you find the right spots, I have been there in March, and it was hit or miss in the shallow water on rattle traps, it was fun, but nothing like what I expected, so I would really like to try it then. Would also like to try to fish Kentucky lake this spring, sometime in April.
