I made it over there today about 9:00am. Man was it great to be out on the water! The only bad part was no big fish caught. Biggest of the day was maybe three and half. Good news was that there were good numbers being caught. I ended up with about 40 or 50 but most very small. There were about 10 or 12 white bass in that count since I got into a school of them. I ended up having to leave early due to battery issues on the tm. I'll be going back next week. Most fish caught on traps and jigs. I spoke with a couple guys at the ramp who said the same thing. Good numbers but to heavy fish. Time to pack and head to Louisville boat show for the weekend.

It opens 2/1. But right now it's to cold. 45 degrees at the hot water ramp. I had to run wayyyy up the hot water side to get bites. Temps didnt break 60 til past the discharge. But I'm with you. I'll take the cold side over the hot side any day!!!

we went sat, i caught about 14 with the biggest 15 inches, but my buddy caught one about 4lbs, not bad just using trolling motor only

Man I feel ya on that one. I would hate to fish that lake with only a TM. It's way to long and narrow for that. I was right by the discharge and up from there. I'd hate to travel that far with only a tm. Cold side is open soon so it's a lot better side for just a tm imo.

I take a friends. 15' Lund with a 9.9. Especially since he can't fish because of a shoulder surgery. LJP you should hear Heath whine about not being able to fish while I steal his boat!

Any new Newton reports ? I plan on going over there soon.

I was going over there both days this weekend. But my son thought it best to share the flu with me instead. So I haven't left the couch or bathroom in two days now. My partner went over Saturday. His words about the fishing were "worst day ever on newton" 2 bass early then 6 white bass around 4:30 or so and that's it. He said he saw one other boat set a hook and thats all. The lake is packed with boats. They fished the hot and cold side. The spawn should be starting there in the next few weeks is my guess. If anyone goes this week (Larry) post a report. Heath and I are going to try it next Sunday.

I was planning on going Thur. They have put rain in the forcast so I'll have to wait and see.
