I was going over there both days this weekend. But my son thought it best to share the flu with me instead. So I haven't left the couch or bathroom in two days now. My partner went over Saturday. His words about the fishing were "worst day ever on newton" 2 bass early then 6 white bass around 4:30 or so and that's it. He said he saw one other boat set a hook and thats all. The lake is packed with boats. They fished the hot and cold side. The spawn should be starting there in the next few weeks is my guess. If anyone goes this week (Larry) post a report. Heath and I are going to try it next Sunday.

I was planning on going Thur. They have put rain in the forcast so I'll have to wait and see.

I'd say yes. Water is going up fast. Take your flippin stick!

Last Thursday water temp on the cold water side 53.7 at ramp and 51 up toward the bouys. Fishing sucked but it sure was windy with gust to over 40mph.
