I was wondering what the creeks looked like, is the water clear or does it have some color, and hows the striper bite?

I Fished this past Saturday and Sunday with no luck at all. The water was some what clear up in the creeks, but not real clear. I would say visibility was 3 to 4 feet down. Could not catch any shad, therefore, I had to use shinners which did not work very well. I trolled both days and I would have liked to bottom fish, but shinners do not work very well on the bottom.

I was out last Saturday too and the head of Indian was as clear as I've seen in a while. Didn't see any bait back there either. Talked to a guy that got some real small alewives and threads under the lights the night before. I fished with cut threads/jacks I had from a TN trip the day before and never got a bite.

thanks for the info. Still Debating on wether go sunday or not. sounds like the fishing on the lake has slowed. If I go I'll leave a report when I get back. Thanks Again.
