Your posts reminds me of what I saw on the back side of a Hank Williams Jr tee shirt, it read: "I'll keep my guns, my money and my freedom. You can keep the CHANGE!"

(Oh, and it had nothing to do with him being black. Nothing at all.)
I respect your opinion but I feel him being elected had everything to do with him being black. My take.....he would get the black vote, majority of the minority vote, the independents who wanted "change", the hip young Hollywood, college kids that are fed all this white guilt crap all the time and of course those of his party that supported his liberal ideas. The Oprah, the view and other liberal vehicles pushed the "first black potus idea" to death.
If a white man would have run against the GOP I feel the would have lost.

I don't like to think it Don, but I bet you anything that if the truth were known, the REAL truth, then yes, I bet that's one of the main reasons he was elected/nominated/endorsed to run for POTUS in the first place.

    Tim,
I know it's taboo to say just about anything about blacks unless your black but imo its the truth. The dem party had it's clocked cleaned waaay to much in the recent past with Potus elections and with congress being controlled by their party they wanted every advantage to win. Think about that.....with so much at stake would they have chanced a potential disaster if they lost the potus election??
They got around the round table and came up with the best campaign and best candidate to win. He had no experience but being black was the answer.....The rest is history.

I( used to think the same thing until I watched her "reality" show. For someone who grew up hunting and was nicknamed caribou Barbie, she sure didn't look she knew how to get around on the tunra and the way she handled a rifle and the way she shot, I am gald I don't have to be in the woods with her in November.

I do agree with most of her politics, but don't want to see her as the spokeperson for the party!

    Re: Enough of Palin!!!

Boone here; started this thread just to see how much Sh.. I could stir up. Some of the responses were expected..., and others others have been enlightening. Very much appreciate the comments regarding alternatives to Sara on the Republican ticket, as I see her as a real threat of splitting the vote. GOD HELP ME, I'll vote DEM before I vote SARA.

Not surprised it turned into an Obama thing, but throwing in the race card into the discussion was a bit of a surprise.
