    CR Today

Went back to the river today. Got there right after day light, 4 Gen Running with lots of shad coming thru. Caught nothing in the boils and drifting back down. I went to the calm side, if I seen schools of fish on the graph, I would drop a blade bait and would catch something just about every time. Caught drum's, white's or small stripper, crappie and 1 sauger. When they shut the gen down to 2, I could not find schools of fish any more, had to make long casts with the blad bait and rip it off the bottom. Minnows only caught 1 crappie, nothing on a grub and minnow.

    Hope this helps

With as much water there is in the river now, drifting and running back will be no problem. It would be a good time to learn a little about the river and where all the sand bars are, if you watch your dept finder. I have a 17 foot alum boat with a 70 and have no worries about running it.

    Hope this helps

Yes no problems running it up on the rocks in the trees or up on a sand bar.
    Sorry Billy I couldnt resist.
Actually I have spent many hours with Billy on the river.
    He knows it well.
If you get an offer to go with him take him up on it.

I swear I did not see that tree, but it was funny watching you hold on to that seat.

Any went back today and man the river is tough right now. caught a few small fish and that was about it. Seen boats put in and not stay real long. Fish are hard to come buy right now. But hay I will keep trying to I figure something out.

    Later buddy
