I saw the clip and remembered it a little differently. I thought the question was whether you'd rather have Rodgers or Rothlisberger as QB of your team, and Bayless wanted Big Ben because of how clutch he USUALLY is with game-winning drives. Up to now, Rodgers hasn't had opportunities to establish himself in that part of the game.
I'd rather have Rodgers, because I'm not a big fan of sexual assault.
Much of Bayless' commentary is actually a commentary against the media. Any sports fan should recognize how silly the media can be. After all, in about a month, they almost crowned Brady, Rothlisberger, and now Rodgers as best ever. It's the same argument he has against LeBron James. Yes, he's great, but he hasn't won it yet, so can't be the king.
