Let me provide a little more information about the LMBC. We are a small club and would like to stay that way, but we do have openings for a few additional members. The average cost per tournament, not including the FLW/TBF/KBF registration when you join, is between $60-70 including the $30 entry fee and gas used from Brooks RD @ I-65 to the majority of the tournament sites (this estimate is at gas prices around $4/gallon).
As John explained, the launch time and ramp are decided at the club meeting before the tournament. All but 3 of the 10 tournaments are random draws with the boater/non-boater pairing selected at the meeting prior to the tournament. Both 2 days (Kentucky in May and Barkley in the Fall) are pick a partner outings, while the Team Tournament in August is new to our club. The rules for the team tournament will be finalized at the next club meeting.
If you want to win a lot of money this is not for you. If you want a chance to fish different bodies of water with a great group of guys, then we would welcome you to come check us out. Our next club meeting is Thursday, 3/3 at 7p. We meet at the Harrod's Creek Fire Department on Highway 42.
If you would like more info then feel free to contact me or John.
