Something else to condsider, is check the lake levels before you head down.

With the huge drought we had last year, and the work that they were doing on the dam, they were pumping TONS of lake water out every day. The lake from what I hear is still really low. Last year when we went, a bunch of the ramps you could not even get to. I know they are still fishing the lake, but hear its pretty tough to navigate.

My father inlaw was down there duck hunting recently said it was way down.
