Well I am alittle different than you guys I guess. When fishing a tourny I like to keep a fresh bait on the hook. Just a confidence thing I guess.

I got turned on to using Zman plastics after I started fishing with the chatterbaits a couple years ago. I like to use each plastic to catch as many fish as possible, and they really are tough. I always use extra scent, too.

Are they as buoyant as the show made them out to be? They showed the head of a craw floating above the bottom like a defensive stance with a weighted hook. I wonder what they'd be like on a Carolina rig.

I've used this trick for the last 2-3 years, works pretty good, i've tried red, and black, it does'nt seem to make any differance. Now, i'm using a
"homemade" parasite clip. I saw them in b.p.s. Catalog, and made some out of small paper clips. Works great for tubes, keeps them from "balling up" on the hook... Tr

When T-Rigging Senkos, i find owner twist lock hooks keep em from gettin tore up so much. And yes the Z-Man baits are made from the same Elaztech material that Strike King uses to make the Zero, Z-Too, and some other soft plastics...
