My Concealed Carry Instructor (he's a LEO) said it was illegal to have a pistol on a boat in Indiana - he did not site the law.

Not sure about Kentucky - be interesting to see what the KY law is...

Not having one on my boat has kept me from doing something stupid like when someone bumps your boat to gain access to a very small spawning cove . . .
