I haven't heard not one person even come close...to asking for Coach Cal to leave. The first time I even heard anyone even talk about it...was on this board for crying out loud. I might not like taking one on the chin hear and there; but Vandy has the best team they have ever had in school history...5 seniors, at home, hard to beat! Hell...who knows..potential to win it all; Vandy will beat some heads in the big dance!!..But Coach Cal. ..he is in the top 5 coaches in the country...and yes...hell yes better the Tubby ball! Didn't care for the language issue with Jones, but he has learned from that mistake. He is SEC coach of the year...taking a young team ...very young team..and making a game out of each and every game they play in! Im telling ya the SEC isn't no joke, very good teams from top to bottom. They will surprise and beat good teams in the tournament, mark my words!...Don't fret UK fans...all is good in Big Blue Nation. UK will be in the big dance..quite a few games left to play...and then the SEC tournament...We are still learning and playing hard. IM seeing great things from Liggins and Josh..and all the starters! Im not worried even the slightest; this is exactally where we want to be. Take a few loses... learn and grow...find the positives.....UK will bring the heat in March..Coach Cal. will have these Cats ready for March Madness...then let the talking start when we make it to the elite eight and woooppen ass!!!

Remember it is PUFF PUFF, PASS .... not PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF etc. I love the Big Blue as much as the next fella but I also don't let it cloud my judgement. No way they make it to the Elite 8 this year. They will have to win 2 games to even make it to the Sweet 16 and that will be a stretch. SEC coach of the year, Cal is not. March madness is a couple of weeks away and there is no way this team improves enough in 14 days to make a deep run in the NCAA tourney. Be lucky to make it to the Final 4 of the SEC tourney in that they will be playing 4 games in 4 days with a 6 man rotation.

Maybe I am looking through rose colored glasses...maybe I did hang out with Jerry and his dead heads to often....maybe it's just cabin fever...or maybe just Big Blue madness, who knows? I know I got tickets to Sat. game with my wife;... she was rasied on the Blue...I think she married me becouse I got me sheep skin there!! Im so excitied about taking her to Rupp on Sat. to watch the Gamecocks get the asses wopped! We have a winniing streak at home, at 30; I think!!...And Im hoping it don't end on Sat. I'd hate to have to say that the first UK game my wife got to see...was the first game that coach Cal lost at Rupp. We have what....5 more games left to play in the reg. season...and three of those are at Rupp!...Coach Cal. is a "tournament coach", if that makes any sence to anybody...He will have the Cats tournament ready, and able to handle the tournament pressure. He said last night, that we need to break through the wall, and if we do ...we could go a very long way this year...If we can win these last 5 games...Florida being one of them at home...along with Vandy...then @ Ark., then @ Tenn. If we can win 4 of them...I'd say we have broken through the wall..and we can beat anybody on any given tournament day. Im seeing great ball playing by this young team...All the starters and playing great!!!...The three freshmen are doing great..Josh H. is bring his game to another level...Liggins is showing leadership attitude...and playing D like knowbodys buisness...I know Im the biggest optimist on this web sight...when it comes to UK B-ball...But gee wizz; My aspirations for this team runs high...We can be a very dangerous team...We seem to improve each week. Im not going to be suprised if we do win the SEC tournament...nor will I be suprised if we do make the elite 8, or better. I am surprised though, that not many agree with me on this...But not many agreed with me, when I said after week 9 that the Packers will be in the Superbowl...after beating Dallas 45-7
If UK doesn't win the SEC...and they do get spanked in the NCAA...I asure you, I will got on this web sight and eat crow with the best of them. I do believe this will be a year to remember in UK history books! This reminds me of the famous words of Gene Kranz...NASA flight Director of Apollo 13...."this will be our finist hour"...

Naw man your just a monster fan pulling for your team. Nuttin wrong with that....but sometimes we have to step back and see the situation not as a fan but as an objective observer. I'm still learning that myself.

I think UK loses at UT and the home streak gets broken by Florida.
Billy Donovan like the rest of the country has UK figured out and if Macklin gets his big body going down low UK is in trouble. The man is big, tough and fast, UK does not have an answer for his game. I would hope the guards and Parsons makes enough of the outside shots including 3's to open that up for Macklin. Thats coming from a Gator fan.

Too bad you can't pull for a good team. Just kidding man!!!
