Question about dix river?????

I was looking for some "hopefully" smallmouth water to fish close to my girlfriends house around nicholasville. I googled the dix river using google maps and it brought up what appeared to be the area from the dam of herrington lake to the ky river which i didn't know if that was correct. In looking at the map i also saw what looks to be a creek closer to u.s. 27 running into the ky river that extended up into the nicholasville area. It crosses under bethel rd. Or st.hwy. 1268 if that helps to identify it. If someone could help me out with some info on these waters i would appreciate it, for example names, if they are worth fishing, access points for wading or canoeing. Thanks

Ok, sorry to sound like an idiot. I got the information on the dix river, so the other creek that runs towards nicholasville that i mentioned in the previous post is what i am curious about.

It's Hickman creek. I've thrown a line in a few times and also floated the last stretch of it once to the KY river. Haven't had much luck, but have heard there are smallmouth there.
