    Digger Phelps

Well he picked Louisville to loose again. Of course he picks Louisville to loose every game. The funny thing for me is the haters like him and that tool Gottlieb and a few others are keeping the faith that the Cards are horrible this year and are getting ready to fall off a cliff anyday. Jigger and Gottlieb both picked Syracuse to win,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NOT!

I don't like using the word Hate, but I'm real real close on Digger Phelps and Gottlieb, what a complete tool. A hundred bucks say's they both pick Cincy Wednesday night...........

BTW, Jigger hates Ky to, picked Vandy the other day and was busting their chops pretty hard on gameday. Let's start a ''I HATE DIGGER PHELPS FAN PAGE''

    Re: Digger Phelps

Let's see what we have here. Digger Phelps, an overrated, under achieving coach during his entire tenure at Notre Dame. The guy hung his hat on ending UCLA's 88 game winning streak back in 1974. He was not a good coach.

Doug Gottlieb. If you look up the word tool in the dictionary, there is a full page photo of Doug. Not only is he overpaid for his analysis on hoops games, he wasn't really a good player. Gottlieb began his career at Notre Dame, but it didn't take long for him to be gone. First, he was not talented enough to play in the Big East. That was evdient during his cup of coffee at Notre Dame. He was kicked out of school at Notre Dame for stealing his roomates credit card and running up $900 worth of charges. Not sure why he didn't serve time because that my friends is a felony.

Because of his shortcomings as a player. Gottleib hates the Big East conference. A few years ago he called the weak Syracuse schedule "fraudulent" and criticized Jim Boeheim. Boheim responded : "the only thing I know about fraudulent is (Gottlieb's) use of credit cards". Boeheim also went on to say, "One guy in particular was in our league for a minute or two but he couldn’t play in it. He seems to do the most talking, probably because he wasn’t a very good player and he’s not very smart about basketball."

He also was the first to shout for Eddie Sutton's resignation at OSU. What is ironic is that Sutton was the coach that gave the tool a second chance and Gottleib finished his career at Oklahoma St. How grateful he is!

Man I didn't know that stuff about Gottlieb, I just knew I couldn't stand to look at the guy, he makes me wanna puke when I listen to his crap. I must be a pretty good judge of character though, because I can't stand either one of these arseholes.

Good stuff Tim, I would have loved to have heard Jim B busting his chops, awesome material.

That's a helluva life story on him Tim....Boheim is one of my favorite coaches in the NCAA....It never seems he has as much talent as other big name schools but he always makes them, and that zone, work....If I had my pick of schools to play for right now and wasn't such a huge UK fan I guess the 'Cuse would get my nod....

Up until halftime it seems like they know a lil bit. The Ville is struggeling against Cincy, may be a better second half hopefully.

Come on Mark, you know the Cards will have to win a few down the stretch to even make it to the NIT....LOL....No doubt the Cards have proven themselves as a tournament team and anybody that disagrees hasnt watched basketball....

    Re: Digger Phelps

My wife likes his matching tie and highlighter gimmick. Allows me to watch more basketball. So I give Digger a pass for that reason alone.

Gottlieb - he's like Cowherd, his whole schtick is to be an arrogant tool I think.
