If you go tomorrow, hit the bluffs that run East and West and face the south. I have had a HUGE amount of good luck on them in February after some un-seasonably warm days in the past. The face of these bluffs will get hit with the sun all day long and the water will warm up 5-8 degrees within a couple of feet of these bluffs. I have put my trolling motor right up agains the bluffs and read 48-50 degree water temps and then moved out to cast and read 41. The fish will literally stack right up against the bluff. I cast the FNF with a sidearm cast and the bobber and jig will hit parallel to the bluff and the jig will fall straight down the face of the bluff. Keep a count in your head of when the bobber should stand up because a bunch of bites came on the fall. I would love to be there today.
