Guntersville recommendations

Making a run to Guntersville in 3 weeks does anyone have any suggestion on where to stay, it will be just me and my father so a motel or hotel would be fine. Looking for somewhere that is close and somewhat cheap! Where is the best place to fish on that lake? Any suggestion would be approciated.

as far as where to fish, i like south sauty and the goose pond area all the way to roseberry creek. good luck!

lots of places in scotsboro and guntersville itself but that is a popular time and you had better check for reservations now. just got back (see photo board) and stayed in cabin at little mountain marina. nice ramp - mid lake. have stayed at goosepond but a little pricey. start calling now, places book fast. good luck and be safe.

Nice pics, what did you all catch them on and where abouts. Not trying to get a guide hoping to get enough info and not have to have one, and thanks Joey I called down there and it sounds great with a good price too! Keep the info coming guys!

If you want to fish the Guntersville end of the lake, there's a holiday inn that's right on the water, with plenty of dock space.

We are wanting to stay around Goose Pond, possible one of the cabins at the state park. Figuring out what will be the best weekend to go.
