Dix river info

I am wanting to put my canoe in on the dix river somewhere close to u.s. 27 on thursday if anyone could help me out. I'm not looking for anyone to give away their "honey holes". I just don't have any info and have never fished it at all. Thanks in advance

You can put in at the Logan Hubble Park half way between Lancaster and Stanford. There is a ramp there. In the summer the water is shallow, not sure what it would be now. I have waded this and caught lots of small small mouth and some 2 to 3 lb fish. You will find a few deep holes of water, but like I said most of it is shallow.
