Finally made it out to Nolin for the first outing of the year....mainly to run the boat, and see what needs repaired this year ()...but also to throw a line or two. Put in at Moutardier around 9am, water temps around 40, water clarity about 2-3ft. I headed up lake from there, only about a mile, and water clarity became 1ft at best, murky. Fished primary points and mainlake flats with craw cranks and plastics.....nada. Headed back down toward Moutardier in search of clearer water....fished some more of the same, with similar results. Took off around 11:30am cause I had some things I had to get done today. Water temps were around 41.5 degrees when I left. Beautiful day out there! Won't be too much longer till they really turn on if this continues....
